On February 18, 2025, the Lawrence S. Ting Foundation, in collaboration with Compal Taiwan Group and the Department of Labor, Invalids & Social Affairs of Vinh Phuc Province, held a ceremony to donate wheelchairs to people with disabilities in the province.
During the event, 150 wheelchairs were presented to individuals with mobility impairments facing difficult circumstances, helping to enhance their mobility and overall quality of life. Additionally, the program provided financial support to two local social assistance facilities, sponsored by Mr. Jerry Hsu, a board member of Compal Taiwan Group.
The Wheelchairs of Love program is one of many meaningful initiatives that offer practical support to vulnerable communities. Since its launch 16 years ago, the program has donated 35,603 wheelchairs to people with disabilities.
